THE HOUSE

    The house is the oldest in the hamlet of La Rocheblin, it has been built with the stones that have been extracted on site around the 16th century and has a wonderful view on the fields around the house. It was in poor conditions when we got it, it lost the roof and only a part of the walls were remaining. As we needed a "pied a terre" in the region we decided to take the opportunity and start renovating the house with a local architect to keep it as close as possible to the original shape from the outside with all the modern comfort you can get in the inside.

    Connoisseurs will enjoy the eclectic combination of the contemporary and the antique. We hope the photos will inspire you to spend some time in La Rocheblin. Michel and Claudie are big furniture fans and you will find some nice parts in the house that will hopefully enable you to enjoy this second home.

    The house is pleasant in any season, we made sure during the renovation that we have sufficient isolation, and therefore always a nice climate. In summer you can hide from the sun or enjoy it on the terrace and in the winter you can enjoy the nice fireplace with a book and a glass of wine. Additionally the open kitchen has all the appliances to test your French cuisine.
You can also enjoy the garden, either in the front or in the back. And the overflow bathtub enables relaxing moment too.
